Get Paid to Blog [Part 2] Offline tactics to Promote your Blog/Website

Get Paid to Blog [Part 2] Offline tactics to Promote your Blog/Website By: Ollie Style I suggest that you print out this article and post it in your refrigerator and workplace in order to keep you reminded of what to do. I’ve compiled offline tactics and I would like to share them to you. Here they are: 1.Print out your business card with your blog’s URL on it, you can also have your business cards photo copied on special paper to lessen the cost of printing. You just need to have a template of your business card, you can do it on word or special software like Adobe Page maker or Corel Draw. 2. If you have the money have a silkscreen printer personalize a t-shirt with your blog’s URL on it. Of course you have to give these t-shirts away to your friends or contacts. You could also post on your blog or website that you are giving away t-shirts, I’m sure a lot of people will be asking for one, so be ready. 3. Become a resource person on radio, In order to do this you could contact radio stations and then offer your expertise in return ask them if you mention your blog’s URL on the air. 4. Make Flyers and hand them out in busy places. If you have your own printer or photocopying machine you could print on your own to lessen the cost printing. 5. Go to tradeshows. Don’t forget to bring your business card and once you’re in the tradeshow give your business card to everybody you meet. But don’t forget to ask for their business card in return. 6. Develop your own data base, and then send your contacts a letter explaining what your blog is, and don’t forget to include your URL in your correspondence. 7. You could create a bookmark with your URL printed on it and then give them away for free. You could also give them away to libraries in your area. 8. Pick up a free ads paper in your area and then call them up to have your URL printed in their next issue. Or you could visit your local newspaper and then pay for a listing of your URL in their classified ads section. 9. If it’s fine with you, you could have the sides of your car printed with your blog or website’s URL, print it as big as possible. 10. Have a local silkscreen printer print out stickers that have the URL of your blog or website on it, and then give away the stickers to as many people you know. There are a lot of things you could do off line to promote your website, simply be sensitive to your surroundings and find out what other people are doing, and you will definitely be visible both offline and online.
