7 Top Ways To Make Money Online
Posted July 31st, 2007Why would anyone want to make money online? Well, firstly you can work from anywhere in the world that you can get an internet connection. Secondly, you can create an incredible income even if you only have a few hours a day. So if you want freedom, flexibility and want to make money, read on…
So, how do you actually make money online?
Here are some of the most popular and proven ways to make money online, in no particular order:
1. Make money on eBay
2. Make money with blogs
3. Make money with Online Surveys
4. Affiliate Marketing
5. Google Adwords
6. Google Adsense
7. Your own website
Some of these methods require some internet knowledge, while some are suitable for a total beginner. Some will produce an immediate income while others may take months or more.
For instance, blogs and surveys are ideal for the beginner, and surveys can produce immediate income. A blog is like an online journal. Surveys simply require you to share your opinion.
Your own web-site on the other hand requires some expertise and will usually produce income in the longer-term. However once your site does start making money for you, it’s like having your own money-printing machine!
Google Adsense is where you enable adverts to show on your blog or website, and you get paid every time someone clicks on the ads. So, if your blog or website become popular, and you are getting thousands of visitors a week or a day, you can make a great income doing pretty much nothing! (You did the work previously setting up the blog or site and now you can reap the rewards).
Google Adwords is where you pay for your own advert that will appear down the right side of the page when people do a google search. For instance, let’s say you are selling health products and need more customers. If you have your own website, however simple, you can create an advert that will appear on Google’s search results when someone does a search for health products. You pay every time someone clicks on your advert. Let’s say Google charge you 20 cents a click, and for every 30 people that click you get a sale of, say, $40. As long as you are in profit with the results, it can be well worth doing. However, I strongly recommend that you follow the experts with this method, else you could waste a lot of money. Read my ebook before you get involved.
Affiliate marketing can work well with Adwords. This is where you send buyers to other people’s websites and get generous commission on any sales made. The sales are tracked by way of a coded link. You don’t need to buy stock or send items to customers, the website owner does all that. This can be a superb way to make money once you understand it.
Selling on Ebay is another way to make money online quickly. You don’t need to sell stuff from your loft, you can sell whatever you are most interested in
Top Ways To Get Traffic To Make Easy Money Online
Posted July 31st, 2007If you want to make easy money online, getting traffic (visitors) is a crucial area you need to master. Imagine if you have an all-singing all-dancing website, a fantastic product but no-one can find your site…You will obviously make diddly squat! However, if you can drive hundreds and then thousands to your site on a daily basis you could join the top earners on the internet, leave your job and earn a superb income working just a few hours a day or less. By the way, the top earners rake in 6 figure incomes a MONTH! There are 2 choices, traffic you pay for and free traffic. No question, you may think, free traffic must be the logical way to go! However the free traffic usually requires patience and most people want to make money online fast! Let’s look in more detail at both. (NB. My free ebook goes into lots more detail about all the areas I mention in this article). Firstly paid traffic: This includes things like pay-per-click campaigns that lots of the search engines enable. For instance, log onto Google or MSN or Yahoo and, as an example, type in to the search box ‘flat abs’. You will see lots of information come up about how to get a flat stomach, and down the right-hand side of the page there will be small adverts. These are paid for by website owners who are selling things relevant to ‘flat abs’. Every time someone clicks on their advert, they pay the search engine a fee. You can get excellent results because the traffic is what we call ‘highly targeted’. In other words you are not just getting any old visitor, you are getting a visitor who is specifically looking for what you are selling, so they are likely to buy. Paid traffic also includes visitors who come from online classified ads, ezine adverts (online publications), paid emails and so on. Free traffic includes the following: articles, forums and traffic sites. If you can write about a subject you know well, this can be a great way to generate traffic. Once you have written your article, which will include a link to whatever you are promoting, you can get it published online. Your article can then be reproduced by any number of website owners and online publications. Imagine the power of having your article reproduced in an online magazine that goes out to thousands of subscribers every week! Or, imagine that a popular website puts your article on their site. All of their visitors will then see your article and a proportion will follow the link to what you are selling. Forums reach a huge audience, but may not be for everyone. My Space is an example of a very popular site that has forums. You need to use these sites properly to get good results. In other words, you need to get fully involved with the online community, it’s no good just plugging your site as people will see straight through you. Traffic Sites are sites where you can generate traffic for your site by spending time surfing other people’s sites. This can be effective, but also time-consuming. There is software that can help massively with this (see my ebook). Also you can build downlines with many of these traffic programs and this can enable you to create an avalanche of traffic. The very best way, in my opinion, to generate high amounts of free traffic long-term, is through what is called SEO (search engine optimisation). This is where you create a website that is search engine friendly, and is a whole specialist area. I have a free ebook all about just this on my site as it is too complicated to cover here. The result of good SEO on your website is that, in time, (usually many months) you will rank high in the search engines which means that you will get masses of free traffic. For instance, when you do a search on, say, MSN or Google for anything
Google Has Identified Its AdWords Qualified Professionals
Posted July 31st, 2007Google AdWords is a very popular pay per click advertising system. It has millions of advertisers. Setting up and managing a Google AdWords account should be done expertly to ensure the best results. Novice advertisers may have a hard time doing the AdWords account set up and management all by themselves, thus, they need experts. Google has made identification of experts an easier task for the advertisers. They just need to look for the Google AdWords Qualified Professional and Google AdWords Qualified Company logo. When someone uses this logo, it means he has passed Google’s standards and qualifying examination. Furthermore, it signifies that he can set up and manage Google AdWords account like an expert. Google has made it clear; however, that the logo doesn’t mean that the individual or the company is officially endorsed by Google or that they work for Google. Google has nothing to do with their individual business or company. The logo only signifies that the individual or the company has met Google’s standards. Google AdWords Qualified Professional Google AdWords Professionals or GAP are the individuals who have taken and passed the Google exam. Aside from the exam, Google has also set some standards by which to judge whether the individual will be called “Qualified Professional”. The individual should have managed an AdWords account for 90 days and that he has maintained a total spend of at least $1000 for the whole 90-day period. As an individual who tries to attract clients who are willing to have their AdWords account set up and managed, being a Google AdWords Qualified Professional is a big help. More clients will trust the professional because he has passed the Google standards. It makes him a perfect choice among many others offering AdWords set up and management services. Google AdWords Qualified Company A Google AdWords Qualified Company is one that is composed of at least two qualified individuals. This means both of them have taken and passed the Google exam and are qualified under the main company registered My Client Center account. The company should have US state or territory billing and mailing address. EMEA countries are also qualified. There should be a 90-day client total spend of at least $100,000 for most countries. But this figure can vary depending on the country. For instance, Ireland is required $100 total spend while UK is required $100,000. The amount is equivalent to the country’s local currency. There are so many advantages in being a Google AdWords Qualified Company. In Ireland, the first Google AdWords Qualified Company is RingJohn.com. Having the privilege of displaying Google’s logo, companies will have a better chance of attracting clients and convincing them. If you are an advertiser, will you still trust your AdWords account to just anyone who claims they are experts or would you rather look for the Google AdWords Qualified logo and trust your account to experts alone? Of course, the latter is a practical and smart choice!
RingJohn is the first Google AdWords Qualified Company in Ireland. Trust you AdWords account to experts alone. For your web marketing and pay per click advertising needs, visit Internet Marketing Ireland. It also offers web marketing training and search engine optimisation services.

An Overview on Internet Marketing
Posted July 30th, 2007By: Robert Greco
Internet marketing, put quite simply, is the concept of business marketing, both to customers and to other businesses (B2B), by use of the internet. However, getting inside the concept and looking at how it works may not be considered as quite so simple. The primary reason for this is that the internet, still relatively young, is ever-evolving and therefore subject to waves of change.
New advances in internet technology are constantly providing new opportunities for businesses to add to their marketing approach and content. Likewise, advances in technology are making more affordable options available to the consumer, and so many more people are logging onto the internet every day. As they do, the demographic is changing, and no longer is the wealthy individual the only target of internet marketing. Today virtually all income levels must be considered in the internet marketing approaches of business.
In the 1990s, internet marketing went berserk. It was a brand new concept, and caution had been thrown to the wind in all the hype. Companies did not take into consideration that the same variables of marketing in other forms of media should logically be applied to internet marketing as well. Their failure to study markets and create sound strategies led to the fall of many so-called dot-coms in the end of 2000. The survivors, and successors, began to look toward time-tested logic in marketing for direction, and the result was massive growth.
Through the now-careful approach of businesses and marketers alike, targeted advertising on the internet has brought forth great success. Virtually any market you may wish to break into can be tapped on the internet. Many marketing firms offer the solutions a business needs to get their products out to consumers, while a small firm may wish to handle their marketing on their own and can find lower-cost solutions for their goals as well.
Search engines are a major resource for marketing, but typically are only able to provide ideas for what the consumer is already searching for. To accomplish the spontaneous suggestions offered by television or radio, pop-up ads and ads placed directly on a web-site are used. E-mail is an excellent form of marketing, but typically only has success once a business has built a good relationship with the consumer.
More and more people are spending more and more time on the internet daily. The reason is simple: the convenience offered by the internet, coupled with the increasing abilities of the internet to help you get your tasks completed, has allowed for all types of business to be conducted with point and click ease. Many tasks no longer require a trip in the car to be completed. Thus, relationships are growing on the web, and as they do, the pace of internet commerce has rocketed into the trillions of dollars. Advances in technology, and increased traffic, are leading to a future for internet marketing that can only point skyward.

Forums Offer Online Home Business Budget Stretching Ideas
Posted July 29th, 2007Are you running your online home business on a tight budget? Forums offer great money saving ideas and budget stretching tips and resources to help you build and grow your online home business.
It is highly recommended that one of the first things you should do when you start an online home business is join an internet home business marketing forum where you will find a wealth of free information, budget saving tips and money saving ideas available to all members.
Forum members will vary from newcomers to internet marketing gurus and the tips and advice that accumulates in the forum postings from these members is invaluable and most times you will find the answer to any online home business questions you may have. If you do a search in the forum you will be sure to find a number of postings offering solutions.
It is important to treat this forum almost as a home base and make daily visits and contributions. Help others out if you can offer advice to their queries and become known in the forum. You will become acquainted with gurus in your field and find it easy to pick out the strengths of different members.
Instead of wasting precious time searching the internet for solutions or answers often it is a great time saver to post your question in the forum and usually within a few hours you will have a number of replies to your posting offering advice, tips and solutions.
The other great thing about forums is that if you are running your online home business on a tight budget they can save you a lot of money.
For example you may still be in the early stages of learning html or are having problems fixing something on your site and yet despite helpful and informative postings from other members you are still unable to solve the problem.
In this case instead of paying someone to fix the problem for you, you could approach the other members either by a public posting in the forum or by sending a private message (PM) offering them a link on your home page, or offer to run an advert for them in your newsletter or offer to send a broadcast to your opt-in list in exchange for fixing your problem.
We all know that unique content is a very valuable asset on the internet so another form of payment that you could offer is to write an article or two exclusively for the webmaster with his chosen theme and keywords in exchange for helping you out. You could still add your resource box with a link to your online home business website to benefit from the back links.
Another form of payment you could offer is placing a small classified advert or banner on your online home business website for a certain length of time.
Apart from saving time and money by networking in the forums you will gain so much really valuable information that will contribute to the growth of your online home business that would be hard to find anywhere else. You are dealing with people who have walked the road before you and are speaking from experience.
It is also a good idea to post in the forum prior to joining an affiliate program, purchasing a program or buying traffic to seek the advice of the other members. This could save you a lot of money on the one hand or on the other hand give you the confidence to move forward.
Forums not only provide information that will be so valuable to the growth of your online home business but they are great places to make friends and form joint ventures.
The longer you belong and participate in a forum the more at home you will become and you and your online home business will benefit greatly from the budget saving tips and money saving ideas found in the goldmine of helpful information available.

The Four Secrets of Successful PPC Campaigns
Posted July 29th, 2007Over the past decade, online marketing has become an integral part of most businesses’ marketing strategies. In particular, Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) have become one of the most common channels for any business to sell its products and services. In this article, I will share some insights into successful SEM and SEO campaigns. The attractive quality of SEM and in particular pay per click (=PPC) advertising is that the results are measurable. As a strategic marketer, I have never come across any sales or marketing tool which is so transparent and cost-effective. PPC campaigns allow you to see vital statistics on user behavior, text ads, keywords and much more. Best of all, however, is the fact that you can use PPC campaigns as “instant sales generators”: You can pause your campaign when sales are high or you can switch them on again when sales are low to get a new sales boost.
Secret 1: Have an online strategy in place before you start! Prior to implementing your online strategy you should consider the following: I. Define the purpose of your online marketing campaign Some businesses use PPC purely as a “sales generator” tool, other businesses use it as a way to encourage new client leads and others simply for increased brand awareness. II. Identify the medium and long term online strategy It is important to have realistic medium and long term expectations. Bear in mind that online campaigns deliver improved results the longer you run them. III. Set a realistic monthly budget Always consider your budget relative to your product’s profit margin. PPC can have a massive effect on sales and lead generation, but In our experience, we often find that very few businesses develop a strategy before they start their campaign. The alarmingly common approach of “let’s allocate some budget for 6 months and see what happens” is a recipe for disaster. Particularly for the first weeks of your PPC campaign run time, it is imperative that you dedicate a significant amount of time to fine-tuning key words and text ads. An alternative solution is to employ an agency and ask them for a trial PPC campaign in which the results are assessed after 4 weeks. If your agency cannot deliver results within the first 2-3 weeks, chances are that they are not allocating your budget to the right key words and text ads or did not consult you properly in the first place.
Secret 2: Prepare your website! Statistics show that you have got exactly 6 seconds to convince a visitor to stay on your site. If the visitor does not instantly find what he or she is looking for, your budget will not translate into business or leads. It is critical for your website to have the following characteristics: Enticing images- If you offer a service, pictures of happy people will give the impression of satisfied end users. If you are offering a product, make sure that your images are clear and represent your product in a true manner. Good web copy

What are the advantages and disadvantages between drop shipping and affiliate programs?
Posted July 27th, 2007The main difference is customers. Do you want to deal with them? Option 1: Affiliate You don’t have to worry about any problems related to customers. You keep the commission, and all you have to worry about is how to spend it. Since, not dealing with customers frees up a lot of time, you could later find another market for other affiliate products/services. Option 2: Drop Shipping If there’s a problem with the product, you are the one they are going to call. That’s a drawback, that could seriously take up a lot of your time. But, here’s a great advantage to Drop Shipping. You get the customer base. You get a list (if you are smart enough to assemble it) of prospects and customers. This is a list of people with a common interest and you could easily contact them later (again, if you have the skills) with related products OR even affiliate products. This is a great advantage, to Drop Shipping. So, the question is. Do you feel that you are better finding markets for products? Then you go Affiliate.. If you feel customer service is you strong spot, and you feel passionate about the market/products? Then you go Drop Shipping Say you are trying to build volume in a smaller target market instead of a mass affiliate program, and many of the individual products are not yet using affiliates, would it be a good idea to do half and half? And for those who not yet offer affiliate and drop shipping, what’s a good way to approach it? In this situation you are after a tight niche market. That’s good. Also, this market could need/want/demand several different kinds of ONE-product retailers; where most of them are not really adapted to the internet. First… You should research your market. If you have a good product, you should research the market. Second… Since the regular-retailers don’t seem to be up to speed, it becomes a little bit tricky. (It could be that the reason is that the retailers know that there is NO online market, OR it is a huge opportunity for you). Here’s the trick. (you seem to be somewhat interested in the market) Develop an informational product related to the topic. Don’t sell it. Give it away, in exchange for their email adress. The info product could be an E-book, Audio, Special Report, Interview, a link collection, assembled articles. This does 2 things, you get a way to contact them, and you build up credibility. If you got credibility, you can affiliate, drop-ship, retail… whatever. Third.. Next you need to get products to the customer. You persuade someone to create an affiliate program, or even drop-shipping…. But it won’t be worth the trouble, if they don’t understand. So, what you can do.. Is to go to the company, and tell them you have x amount of people that might be interested in the product. …Would they be interested in giving a x amount of commission (affiliate) to you, if you refer them to the store, through a specific campaign. …Would they be interested in giving a x amount of discount(drop-ship) to you, if you order, and they were willing to ship it out separately to the customer, through a specific campaign. Web Site Traffic Secrets
Posted July 27th, 2007Increasing web site traffic is appealing to all of us who have web pages or blogs, or for those of us who promote affiliate programs. I will be showing you a few ways to increase your web site traffic with out spending a lot of money. One free way to increase your web site traffic is to create a blog at Blogger.com or to create a lens at Squidoo. Both can be up and running in less than an hour and Squidoo also has a revenue sharing plan. Squidoo can be quite addictive and you can create an unlimited number of lenses. I will discuss lenses a little more in an upcoming article. Facebook and Myspace also are a good way to advertise your links to the rest of the cyber world. You can post messages to your friends online to assist you in generating more web site traffic. Another free way to increase your web site traffic is to contribute to popular threads at marketing forums with your web site address in your signature column. Warrior Forum.com is one of literally hundreds of forums which you can use to promote your site. You can also place a free ad at the Free Ad Forum and get involved in some of the popular threads their as well. You can post press releases at PR.web which is one of the more effective ways to promote your web site or product. It is one of the better sites to help you increase your web site traffic. Writing articles and submitting them to EzineArticles.com and GoArticles.com to name a few of the hundreds of article web sites on the net. Make sure to place your web site address in the authors box. If it is a popular article it will begin to appear on other web sites as well. Your articles are free to use as long as the bio box is left intact. If you have an email list keep your subscribers up to date once and awhile and make sure your web site address appears in your signature. You can try out traffic generating sites like Traffic Swarm or Traffic Digger . These sites are also free. Pay per click ads from Google or Overture also work quite well but make sure you do your homework first. You could end up spending a lot of money if you don’t do proper keyword research prior to bidding on your key words. These tips if consistently applied should help you to increase your web site traffic in a few short weeks. Good luck and keep me posted on your results.
