The Pros And Cons Of Paid To Action Programs

When people first turn to the internet to try their hand at earning online they’ll often try one “Paid To Action” program or another; these can include such things as:

Paid to read emails: Once you’ve signed up you’ll receive emails containing a link, each of these links must be opened and viewed for a pre-determined length of time.

Paid To click: Generally once you sign up you’ll open a page of links, once each link is clicked on and left open for the allocated time you will receive credit.

Paid Surveys: These are usually very popular and each company is a little different; some will offer monetary payment, while others offer prizes, redeemable points or sweepstakes entries etc.

Paid to discuss: Once you’ve joined one of these programs you will generally receive credit for each discussion you start or respond to.

There are other paid to action program types including things like paid to write or answer questions etc but those listed above are probably the most popular and for the most part all paid to action programs have the same pros and cons.

Some of the pros of a paid to action program include:

They are very easy to do, they require no computer knowledge and if you have a good internet connection you can participate in several different programs at the same time (though that may depend on your chosen browser.)

They are free to join: you should never pay to participate in a paid to action program.

Many will also offer incentives if you refer others into the program (though getting those referrals is often a lot easier said than done)

You will often see your earnings increase with each action you perform which can be a major incentive to many people.

Many of these programs have a low or no minimum payout level which means you can receive payment within days, though some have higher payout levels which can take a long time to reach. Some of the other cons of a paid to action program are:

The very minimal amount of money you will receive for each action with the possible exception of paid surveys; common sense tells us that advertisers are not going to pay hundreds of dollars per ad viewed by thousands of members, instead this is going to be more along the lines of a percentage of a cent per view.

Unfortunately there are also a lot of scams in the area; both from the program owners who offer more than they can possibly deliver and members of a program who make false claims in their quest to gain referrals.

Some paid to action programs will only accept members from chosen countries and if you do reach payout will not pay you if your country is not listed.

Those points listed above, both the pros and the cons, are some of the more common you will come across. Many people have earnt a good income through paid to action programs and it’s up to each individual to decide whether this is how they want to earn online.

If you decide you would like to try one of the paid to action programs there a few key things to do and remember:

Obtain an alternate email address (hotmail gmail, yahoo etc) otherwise you may find your regular email being over taken by offers.

A little over 5 weeks ago I was looking online for reviews on grossing money from home. I came across yet another making money opportunity by the name of the Profit Lance System. I read through the website and it sounded good, but I did NOT purchase it right away. You ask yourself why ? Well, in the past I bought 12 Making Money products and none of them helped me at all. In my opinion they were all scams, because all you received was the author telling you how much money they achieved and how you can also make money online … they were putting a picture in my head of what my goal was, but there was no clear way on how to get there.

I used up over $350 in 5 months on 12 systems and all I received were ebooks. Overall I made approximately $19 using the methods in the ebooks. They were all just scams probably written by the same person, just advertising them under different names. The mistake I made was not to read any reviews or user comments before I bought them. I wasn’t going to make the same mistake this time. I looked at other reviews of the ProfitLance system, because $67 is a lot of money to spend on one shot (update: last time I checked, the price went up to $77). Reading the reviews I noticed that most of the reviewers were happy with the Profit Lance system and that it is not a scam (at least according to them). One review mentioned that you can make $18,000 a month with the Profit Lance System and most people said that they make between $3,000 to $8,000 every month, since it was scam free. To me all of this sounded unbelievable. How is it possible to make $18,000 or even $3,000 a month without any items ? I tried it in the past, but without any success. These reviews were to good to be true.

I still made the decision to get the Profit Lance System on my credit card, because what I read was very enticing to me (I already spent over $350, another $67 would not kill me … I put in some extra hours at my workplace the previous week) After purchasing the Profit Lance System, I immediately got an email with my Username and Password. Profit Lance is not an ebook like most other scams out there. You actually get access to their website and you can even contact them via email for help and suggestions. This is very important because there is a lot of information provided in the Profit Lance System; it took me 3 hours to read through everything. The information provided is not unlike what I have seen before, but the difference is that you are shown the proper ways to use the techniques to make money online. After reading through everything one more time (I did this at night, after work) I started to follow the steps that were provided to me in the Profit Lance System. Trust me when I tell you that this system is not like the other making money scams that I bought in the past. I did not have to buy anything else, and I was able to get it on right away without spending any more money than the original $67 for the actual Profit Lance System. Below you will see my review on a day to day basis showing how much money I made in 1 month:

On the whole, within the 4 weeks I made a total of $1082.14 I do acknowledge that there might be some people that do make $8,000 to $10,000 a month with the Profit Lance System. My own experience showed me that this is not a scam, but making that kind of money is not possible. I think the max you can reach with the Profit Lance system is around $4,000 to $5,000 a month by working 1 to 2 hours a day. Overall I would rate Profit Lance a 9 out of 10, since this is the only system that actually helped me to make money on the web.
